Three good examples of simple harmoic motion is a swing , a washer on a string and lastly a spring
Swing: it goes back and forth freely when the person moves their legs back and forth the potential energy the person puts in is what makes it move freely back and forth
A washer on a strong: the washer applies weight on the string , the string gets its speed from when you let go of the washer.. It moves side to side without stopping.
Spring: the spring has weight in it already it moves up and down , when it is getting pulled downward its the energy that it will have to go back up and back down, which means its a harmoic motion
Good job! 3/3
